Museum Hakka Indonesia is a museum in Jakarta dedicated to preserving and sharing Indonesian Chinese and Hakka heritage.
This self-initiated project aimed to refresh and develop the museum’s logo and visual identity system, which has remained largely unchanged since 2014. The project draws inspiration from the museum’s historical narrative, providing opportunities for creative and narrative-driven design.
The museum’s proposed design features a simple and versatile logo, along with a novel-inspired layout using serif typography, archival imagery, and heritage-inspired colours. This approach enhances the overall identity and appeal of the institution.
